Julie has a decade of experience serving the Energy industry where she became an expert in the integration and application of geospatial technologies to exploration and production projects and workflows. In 2006 she became the first GIS Director for Chesapeake Energy. During her tenure, Julie built and led a robust, cross-functional GIS department that gained a reputation for developing and deploying leading edge solutions for nearly all areas of the company. In 2013, she joined Spatial Energy, which was acquired by Digital Globe. Julie transitioned to the Commercial division of Digital Globe where she formed and guided a team focused on providing Energy customers with aerial and satellite imagery, derivative products, analytical services, and support. In 2016, she launched Tellus Geospatial. The company specializes in helping small Energy industry companies to use geospatial technologies to make better decisions, increase profits, and better serve their customers. Clients include energy investors, entrepreneurs and services firms.
